Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Band 6 Specialist Dialysis Nurse to join our team at Campbeltown Hospital. We run a two‑station dialysis unit that operates three days per week and works in partnership with the Greater Glasgow & Clyde Renal service. This is a full‑time permanent post.
Responsibilities
* Own the overall management of the dialysis unit, overseeing clinical and managerial duties of a senior hospital team member.
* Maintain a high standard of patient care within the dialysis unit and support the delivery of excellent care.
* Coordinate and facilitate training and education for staff and students.
* Apply strong values‑driven practice and develop interpersonal skills to work independently.
Requirements
* Excellent knowledge of haemodialysis and significant experience working within a renal dialysis unit.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and make decisions in a clinical setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
