PT Renewables long-standing client in the Energy and Sustainability space is looking to bring in a brand-new, autonomous, Business Development Manager to drive new business across key sectors.
This is a hands-on, growth-focused role suited to someone who thrives on opening doors, building relationships, and winning complex, consultative sales.
The Role
You'll play a pivotal role in expanding the company's footprint across the large public sector, facilities management and hospitality businesses.
You'll be identifying opportunities for energy management at these businesses.
Your day-to-day
* Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities across target sectors
* Build and leverage an existing network to accelerate growth
* Sell consultative energy solutions, often into organisations that may not yet recognise the opportunity
* Engage senior stakeholders (e.g. Heads of Estates, Facilities, Operations)
* Navigate complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments
* Work closely with internal teams and partners on tailored solutions (including complex/technical offerings)
About you
* Proven experience in a Business Development / Sales role within Energy Management, Facilities and other consultative selling
* Strong track record of selling into the NHS or similar large organisations
* Experience in consultative, solution-based sales (not purely product sales)
* Ability to identify and create opportunities in untapped or unaware markets
* Commercially driven, self-sufficient, and comfortable operating in a growth environment
Package
* Base salary up to £50,000 (flexible for the right person)
* Uncapped commission with realistic OTE year 1 of £80k
