Overview
The Cover Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This position involves supervising students, ensuring their safety and engagement, and delivering pre-prepared lessons effectively. The Cover Supervisor will also support students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education assistance.
Duties
* Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Deliver pre-planned lessons while ensuring that students remain focused and engaged.
* Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
* Assist students with their learning needs, providing support to those with special educational requirements.
* Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all students.
* Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student progress and behaviour.
* Mentor and tutor students as needed, particularly those who may require additional support.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to implement strategies for working with children on the autism spectrum.
* Encourage creative writing and other forms of expression among students.

* Strong mentoring and tutoring abilities to guide students in their academic pursuits.
* Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs or autism.
* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: £90.00-£100.00 per day
