Private Client Lawyer – Devon – 3+ years’ PQE – Salary: £50,000‑60,000 (DOE)
The Role
Manage your own diverse caseload within a busy and growing private client department, providing high quality legal services. Responsibilities include drafting wills, trusts, and LPAs; handling estate and trust administration; advising on inheritance tax planning; ensuring compliance with SRA standards; overseeing billing and financial management; contributing to business development initiatives; and collaborating across the firm while maintaining strong client and referrer relationships.
The Candidate
Ideal candidate: 3+ years PQE in private client work, strong organisational skills, able to manage independent and collaborative tasks, confident in client‑facing situations, skilled at building long‑term relationships, proficient with IT systems. Desirable qualifications include STEP membership and familiarity with case‑management systems. A full, clean driving licence preferred due to occasional travel to client meetings.
