The Primary school are looking for qualified or highly experienced Teaching Assistant to hit the ground running working 1:2 with two boys who have additional learning needs and down syndrome in the Year 3 class. The successful candidate will need to be flexible to work between 08:30am – 15:30pm and be able to work collaboratively with other staff members around the school. You will be expected to create a home from home environment for these two pupils ensuring they receive a stimulating and enriching learning theories.
The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:
Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least 6 months experience within a classroom setting
Ability to get stuck in with the children creating a fun learning environment for all
A caring, positive approach to working with young children
A good knowledge of the Child Protection / Safeguarding procedures
