Thepractice provides a comprehensive range of primary health care services to itspatients.
In addition to residents of the village of Moulton and thesurrounding villages, the practice provides primarily health care services tostudents at the University of Northampton (branch site). This makes the overall practice demographic quite different to theaverage Northamptonshire general practice.
Main duties of the job
To supportthe Practice Manager, and provide leadership and vision, optimising efficiencyand overall performance and ensuring the practice achieves its long-termstrategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment.
To support the Practice Manager to ensure thedelivery of high-quality primary care through the effective organisation anddelivery of services.
To work incollaboration with other members of the Management Team to enable the Practiceto meet its agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe,and effective working environment.
To be responsible for the leadership for all operational functionsdelivered by the administration team. Toact as a role model, demonstrating and promoting the standards expected by thepractice and creating the energy and enthusiasm for the service.

Job responsibilities
Role:
* To play a lead role in the day-to-day operations of the Administration department, ensuring administrative staff achieve their primary responsibilities
* Provide pastoral care/support to team members as needed
* Advocating a compassionate, supportive and inclusive team culture
* Be an advocate for the surgery and its policies whilst at the same time being mindful of the patients needs and how best to serve them.
