Overview
The Customer Finance Department is an extremely busy area with high levels of demand. We deal with all financial aspects of care delivered to the community, from Homecare, Day-care and Direct Payments to Residential care. The team raises invoices in the region of £13 million per annum in client contributions and feeds into & liaises with all areas of Adult Social Care.
Responsibilities
* The Finance Assistant will be responsible for booking all financial assessment appointments for Adult Social Care and liaising with the Senior Financial Assessment Officers regarding bookings, paperwork and other queries.
* The assistant will be responsible for managing a joint inbox, dealing with phone calls and letter queries.
* The assistant will also be involved in the day-to-day aspects of the team and deal with additional tasks if required.
Requirements / Qualifications
* We are looking for candidates who have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including members of the public, over the phone & face to face and also high moral & professional standards.
* DBS Check: Not required for this post.
