We are recruiting for a Bank Support Worker at our supported living service in Hemsworth, Wakefield. This is a caregiving role that focuses on person-centered support and enabling people to live their best life.

Responsibilities
* Provide person-centered support to individuals living at the service, including assisting with daily activities, personal care and meals as required.
* Support people to engage with the local community and participate in activities of personal choice (clubs, cinema, days out, gym, shopping, swimming, family activities, day trips).
* Spend the shift with the person you support to maximise positive outcomes and independence.
* Work within a 24/7 core team at Carlton Close, a supported living project for 3 individuals with learning disabilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
* Collaborate with new partnerships and community activities to benefit the people we support.
* Follow company values and contribute to a positive workplace culture through professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in care or a related field is preferred but not always required for entry-level roles
* Willingness to work with a female-only role as part of policy

* £12.62 per hour
* 28 days annual leave inclusive of statutory bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) and flexible working hours
