Grassland Agro sources, produces, and sells a complete range of conventional commodity fertilizers, specialty fertilizers, soil conditioning products, animal mineral blocks, biostimulants, and dairy hygiene products. As part of Groupe Roullier, our R&D takes place at our Global Innovation Center in St. Malo. We focus on delivering superior technical advice on farms, which supports our growth through product quality and expert service.
We are seeking a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager for Northern Ireland. The role involves developing long-term customer relationships, connecting with key industry stakeholders, and implementing strategic sales plans. Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and executing regional sales strategies.
2. Presenting our product range to meet regional needs.
3. Optimizing distribution and operational costs.
4. Managing relationships with trade customers, including product support and credit management.
5. Overseeing sales administration policies.
6. Leading and supporting the technical sales team, including recruitment, target setting, and performance management.
7. Motivating the team to maximize sales and service quality.
8. Promoting company policies on HR, health and safety, pricing, and terms.
9. Participating in company development through active team involvement.
Qualifications and skills required:
* Degree in Agriculture and/or Business.
* Proven experience in sales management with a record of exceeding targets.
* Technical knowledge of the agriculture sector.
* Strong commercial and relationship-building skills at trade and farm levels.
* Leadership, mentoring, and team management abilities.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Problem-solving attitude.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Valid driver's license.
