Main duties of the job
The Complex Care Support Worker will be responsible for monitoring the client's condition, supporting him with daily routines, assisting with personal hygiene and mobility, administering medication, providing emotional support and companionship, maintaining accurate care records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members. The role requires a compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care?We’re offering an exciting opportunity for asupport worker to work alongside our client with complex needs inMerthyr Tydfil, county Borough.
Pay:£15.14 per hour weekdays, £16.22 per hour Saturdays & £17.30 per hour Sundays.
Hours:Full or part-time -36 hours per week (1x 24 hour & 1x 12 hour shift per week)
About the Role
You’ll be supporting a young man in his 20's who has complex needs due to a brain injury, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy and mobility issues. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.
He lives at home with his mum, her partner and the clients dog, enjoys an active social life with his friends and attends church. Your role will be to support him physically and emotionally, helping him live life to the fullest.
