We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable HE Engineering Lecturer (Mechanical bias) to join our Higher Education team at UCNL and UCDon. You will deliver engaging teaching across Levels 4 and 5, provide academic support to students, and contribute to curriculum development within our growing Engineering provision.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, shaping innovative approaches to learning and teaching while supporting students to achieve their full potential.
This is a group role, therefore you are are expected to travel across North Lindsey College and Doncaster College.

Essential Criteria
* Degree (Level 6) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
* Minimum Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy
* Strong subject knowledge in mechanical engineering theory and practice
* Ability to teach and support undergraduate students effectively
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with flexibility to work evenings when required

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching across Mechanical and related Engineering modules at Levels 4 and 5
* Act as Academic Tutor, providing guidance and support to students throughout their studies
* Participate in curriculum planning, development, and quality assurance processes
* Contribute to programme documentation, annual reports, and student engagement activities
* Engage in scholarly activity and promote Higher Education within the local community
