Here at Bury College, we are seeking a Lecturer in Study Programme English on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent and inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment on our Study Programme English courses, inspiring learners to succeed and progress.
Are you passionate about teaching and learning? Keen to share your experience, skills, and knowledge with others? Can you be a positive and inspirational role model for learners? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!
You will plan delivery schemes of work, lesson plans, and individual learning plans to support learner programmes. You will undertake ongoing high-quality formative and summative assessment of learners’ work, both in class and through regular out-of-class activities to monitor progress.
About You
We’re looking for someone who holds a degree or equivalent in English (or a related subject area) and has previous teaching experience on English (or related) courses.
Your experience should include producing effective schemes of work and lesson plans, and integrating high-quality formative assessments into classroom delivery.
