As part of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their established team and take ownership of complex, high-value engineering projects from conception through to completion. This is a key role within a collaborative environment where you will manage full project lifecycles, coordinate technical delivery, and drive commercial performance across multiple international projects. Key Duties & Responsibilities * Lead and manage all aspects of projects, acting as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams * Develop and oversee detailed project plans, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards * Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with specifications and standards * Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cash flow while maintaining financial control and profitability * Oversee contract negotiations, milestone agreements, and supplier relationships * Prepare and present project progress reports, highlighting risks, mitigations, and performance metrics * Identify and resolve technical and commercial challenges with internal teams and clients * Lead inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities in line with project requirements * Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across the project team, promoting continuous improvement Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience managing engineering projects within oil & gas, chemicals, or petrochemical industries * Strong understanding of project management principles, contract administration, and financial control * Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including P&IDs, PFDs, and fabrication documents * Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to work independently * Demonstrated track record of delivering projects to specification, on time and within budget * Experience working with engineered systems or modular skids, including pressure vessels, piping, or instrumentation advantageous * PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, or similar project management qualification desirable * Familiarity with design and project tools such as MS Project, PV Elite, StaadPro, or Caesar 2 would be beneficial Summary Position: Project Manager Location: Stoke-on-Trent Duration: Permanent Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 Benefits Start: Notice dependent If you have a strong background in engineering project management and want to join a respected global business at the forefront of innovation and delivery excellence, we’d like to hear from you.
