Steer Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our busy accident repair centre in Nottingham South / Long Eaton.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with automotive, bodyshop, dealership, or service advisor experience who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our repair centre, supporting customers throughout their vehicle repair journey.
You’ll work closely with customers, technicians, insurers, and suppliers to ensure repairs are managed efficiently while delivering a first-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
14. Greet customers professionally in person and over the phone
15. Manage repair bookings and customer appointments
16. Provide vehicle repair progress updates
17. Coordinate vehicle handovers and collections
18. Liaise with technicians, insurers, engineers, and suppliers
19. Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
20. Maintain accurate records and job information using internal systems
21. Support smooth day-to-day workshop operations
Ideal Experience
We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
22. Motor trade customer service
23. Automotive administration
24. Service Advisor roles
25. Bodyshop reception or administration
26. Dealership customer service
27. Automotive aftersales
28. Vehicle repair or accident repair environments
Previous bodyshop or accident repair experience would be highly beneficial, although candidates from wider automotive backgrounds will also be considered.
