Position Overview
This role is based at St. Bartholomews Hospital in London, renowned for excellence in diagnosis, treatment, and research. The Radiopharmacy Department is expanding, offering leadership opportunities in a collaborative environment involving scientists, pharmacy technicians, and clinicians. The department supplies critical radiopharmaceuticals to Nuclear Medicine & Imaging departments and supports clinical trials and quality control services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the operational delivery, performance, and governance of the Radiopharmacy Unit.
2. Provide clinical and managerial leadership to internal and wider teams.
3. Ensure safe, responsible, and cost-effective provision of radiopharmacy services, complying with regulatory standards.
4. Collaborate with clinical teams, support clinical trial setups, and liaise with Pharmacy Technical Services.
5. Work with the Head of Radiopharmacy on strategic service development.
Candidate Profile
Seeking a highly skilled pharmacist with significant experience in radiopharmaceutical or aseptic production. The candidate should demonstrate leadership capabilities and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
