Site Engineer * Main Contractor * £80m Student Accommodation Scheme * Based in Birmingham * Freelance: £300 per day CIS We are currently searching for a Site Engineer to join one of the UK’s busiest Main Contractors. This company specialises in the residential sector and delivers high-rise private residential, student accommodation and hotel schemes. The project is currently at Groundworks stage with the RC Frame package due to start in 2 months. The role: * Ensure that all setting out is completed accurately and to the required standards * Prepare and maintain accurate records of setting out information * Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety regulations * Liaise with site management and subcontractors to ensure smooth running of the project * Attend regular site meetings to provide updates on progress and any issues encountered * Provide technical support to other members of the team as required * Work closely with the project team to ensure deadlines are met Requirements: * Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer is essential * Strong RC Frame experience is essential * Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related discipline * Strong knowledge of setting out techniques and equipment * Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools To apply for this role please send your CV through the portal or get in contact with Sam Marsden at Falcon Green
