We are looking for an experienced General Manager to run an independently owned Holiday Park in South Devon. To oversee the day to day running of the holiday park this would include the following: Financial Management & Reporting Responsible for day to day cash management Liaise with external Bookkeeper for processing of payroll Liaise with Accountants and Bookkeeper for preparation of monthly and annual returns Manage bookings and booking system (We currently use Profit) Operations Responsible for implementing and improving all processes on the park, including the office. Ensure IT systems are in place to support Ensure all processes are risk assessed and Health & Safety protocols are defined, trained, measured and improved. This includes food hygiene standards in the club and restaurant Ensure relevant data is collected and analysed to track performance across all aspects of the park, being GDPR compliant To Manage the day to day staff requirements, recruitment, and disciplinary matters should it become necessary. To oversee the housekeeping requirements of the park. To oversee the maintenance of the park, buildings etc. Weekly reporting with figures and bookings statistics. To lead a team of staff in reception, maintenance staff and housekeeping. To manage our bookings with Hoseasons and to a lesser extent with (url removed). To liaise with clients/guests and to ensure their stay is comfortable and that we provide them with good service and a welcoming attitude. To maintain the indoor swimming pool, grounds and play area. To ensure the club, which is franchised out, operates within the terms of the licence we grant. The Park We are a mixed park of 94 units 17 Caravans 77 Chalets We are situated right on the coast with a beach 80 metres away. There is a club on site but this is franchised out so there is little to do with regards to this other than to ensure they comply with the rules we apply to their licence. There is a small shop which is adjacent to our reception we run this ourselves We are in Brixham so clients can walk into town or walk straight on to the coast path.
