We’re working with a well-established regional law firm who are looking for a Litigation Legal Secretary to join their Dispute Resolution team in Stockport. This is an opportunity to support fee earners on a range of litigation matters while managing key administrative and client-facing tasks within a busy legal team.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting fee earners with litigation matters and completing client work in line with firm quality and risk procedures
* Preparing and managing court documents and bundles following instructions from fee earners
* Acting as the first point of contact for new enquiries by phone and via the firm’s website
* Producing and distributing non-standard correspondence, including collating documents, adding enclosures, and filing appropriately
* Managing file administration including opening, closing, storing, and retrieving files in line with firm procedures
* Maintaining both paper and electronic files within the case management system
What we need from you:
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Litigation or Dispute Resolution team
* Experience with audio typing/dictation
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
* Experience using legal case management systems (P4W experience beneficial)
