Pay rate – £22.85 per hour Contract – Temporary Cheshire West & Chester Council are currently recruiting an experienced Family Help Lead Practitioner for their Children & Families team based in Winsford. This is an opportunity to join a strong performing team who focus on achieving the best outcomes for the families, children, and young people they work with. A large part of this role will involve a duty response, offering initial safety planning & support whilst responding to any emerging risks. This support is provided both virtually & in person. Family intervention workers play a key role in assessing the needs of children aged 0-19 and their families with complex and multiple needs. They deliver a package of interventions using the Team Around the Family process and are unique in the way they work towards sustained outcomes for families. Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
