GB Bank have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Relationship Manager that specialises in Specialist and Portfolio Buy-to-Let lending to join our growing team.
In this exciting new role, you will be responsible for originating new BTL enquiries, working to targets, and will have an existing network of Brokers and Introducers, as well as other key business relationships that can help you succeed.
In this role you’ll find yourself…
* Originating new Specialist BTL lending enquiries to meet agreed targets and managing these enquires through the credit approval process to completion with the support of an Assistant Relationship Manager and the Loan Completions Team
* Providing exceptional levels of customer service to attract and retain both new and existing customers leading to strong and long lasting customer relationships
* Delivering fantastic service to your broker network and ensuring that GB Bank are at the forefront of their thoughts for their client’s future lending needs
* Negotiating and structuring of loan applications and proposals to send to the Credit Team right from initial review and through to credit approval and loan completion.
* Supporting the Portfolio team in carrying out periodic credit reviews, covenant monitoring and post completion conditions on all existing customers
* Having resonsibility for building and maintaining new relationships with key professionals including clients and brokers with additional knowledge of and regular contact with solicitors and valuers where required.
A bit about you – You are/have most of the following:
* Familiar with all of the different types of BTL finance (particularly larger ticket loans which may include the provision of large portfolio loans and loans secured on student accommodation, including complex loan structures) and able to structure facilities to meet the clients requirements and operate with GB Bank lending guidelines in mind
* A proven BTL Relationship Manager/Director with a similar organisation, and be consistently meeting your lending targets with a desire to exceed expectations
* Strong business development skills with broad market knowledge and presence;
* An existing network of Brokers and Introducers who can support you and enable your own success at GB Bank
* A strong credit track record with in depth knowledge of credit and lending to businesses from inception to draw down is a must, ideally this will have been with a focus on bridging finance
* Knowledge of risk management, core lending and financial analysis skills.

What else do I need to know?
Location: You will predominately work from home but will be required to travel to our offices when your role requires this.
