Responsibilities
* Partnering with and leading large offshore resources to solving complex business needs, serving as the technical contact
* Managing your team, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, and giving appropriate feedback
* Writing advanced complex code for computer systems, acting as a senior source of expertise, performing reviews, and leading development
* Acting as an acknowledged go‑to person on coding and technical issues
* Recommending technical strategy and direction across functional area, participating in the development and evolution of architecture
* Working directly with customers and end-users, and providing design input across a product
Qualifications
* Have a BS degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
* Have excellent knowledge and experience in project planning and management tools
* Have substantial Software Engineering experience
* Have experience in staff resourcing and management, including partnering and offshoring resourcing models
* Be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills when dealing with multiple priorities, able to think analytically
* Be expert in development languages like JAVA/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, and environments such as Windows, UNIX
* Be a natural problem‑solver and able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues
* Have excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly to a wide audience
* Have great experience in code reviews and development approaches
* Be very proficient in database technology, design and manipulation, optimization, and best practice
