Legal Support Assistant – Family Department

Salary: £24,600 – £27,800

Sellick Partnership is proud to be working with a progressive, forward-thinking law firm to recruit a Legal Support Assistant (Paralegal) for their highly regarded Family Department, based in their spacious, modern, open-plan office in Hereford.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative and legal support to fee earners within the Family Department
Prepare initial appointment communications and client correspondence
Use DocuSign for electronic signatures where required
Assist with efficient billing processes
Support with court proceedings, including:
Filing applications and documents with the court
Preparing and producing court bundles
Maintain a professional, confidential and friendly approach at all times
Demonstrate strong self-management, initiative and organisational skills
Contribute to the smooth running of a busy, team-oriented department
Person Specification
Essential Skills & Experience:
Confident user of Microsoft Word, Excel and able to work across different IT platforms
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, busy environment
Desirable:
Previous experience in a legal support, administrative, or professional services role (not essential for the right candidate)
Experience working within a Family or Litigation team would be an advantage
