The Group Materials Planner will play a key role in supporting high service levels, improving supply chain performance, and enabling the business to achieve its long-term operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimise supply chain processes including procurement, planning, and logistics to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Collaborate closely with internal teams such as production, sales, and finance to align supply chain activities with business goals.
*
Monitor inventory levels, supplier performance, and lead times to minimise disruption and maintain continuity of service.
*
Support the implementation of process improvements and supply chain systems to enhance visibility and control.
*
Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects focused on supply chain optimisation, sustainability, and innovation.
*
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
*
Prepare and present reports, metrics, and analysis to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
Essential:

Proven experience in supply chain operations, planning, or procurement within a fast-paced environment.
*
Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
*
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
*
Proficiency with supply chain systems or ERP software.
*
Driving Licience
Desirable:
*
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or food & beverage sectors.
*
Knowledge of sustainability practices within supply chains.
*
Relevant qualifications such as CIPS or APICS
