Responsibilities:
* Report directly to the CEO, managing site and grounds maintenance to ensure an outstanding environment for guests, owners, and staff.
* Oversee the upkeep of holiday parks' sites, grounds, and infrastructure.
* Maintain high standards of security and maintenance for guest and owner satisfaction.
* Lead and motivate grounds maintenance and security teams, including full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff.
* Encourage team performance to exceed guest expectations, uphold company standards, and adhere to health, safety, and HR policies.
* Drive continuous improvement within your areas, manage work programs seasonally, and ensure high standards are maintained.
Essential Criteria:
* 3-5 years' experience in a senior management role.
* At least 3 years' team management experience, including staff training and development.
* Experience managing external contractors and performance management.
* Knowledge of risk assessments and safe working systems.
* Understanding of site maintenance health and safety policies.
* Experience in cost control and value for money.
* Background in sales or customer service roles.
* Proven customer service excellence.
* Experience in the holiday park or tourism industry.
* ICT proficiency and computer literacy.
* Flexible, motivated, and well-organized.
* Full UK or NI driving license.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience in site/grounds maintenance improvement and quality control.
* Experience managing plant, vehicles, and machinery.
* 2+ years in the caravan industry.
* Experience with large-scale projects or construction management.
* Knowledge of utility management and contract tendering.
* Experience implementing site safety protocols and risk assessments.
* Budget management skills.
* Ability to set and meet KPIs.
* Health and safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH).
* Experience in recruitment and team performance monitoring.
