Events Operations Manager – B2B Tech & Cybersecurity
Based in Hertford with Flexible/Hybrid working and International Travel

As an experienced Event Operations Manager, you will ideally have experience of working in the Tech or Cyber Security events business, whilst leading and managing a portfolio of B2B Technology and Cybersecurity events within the UK, Europe and the USA from end to end including, planning, content development, onsite delivery and post-event reporting.
As Events Operations Manager, you will be a highly organised, be a proactive professional, capable of managing multiple projects, building conferences and summits from the ground up, whilst overseeing all event logistics, including venues, catering, AV, branding, signage, travel, and accommodation.
As an Event Operations Manager, you will be a self-starter with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, be a creative thinker who enjoys designing engaging, memorable experiences, a strong team player who works well across function, highly detail-oriented, with a consistent focus on quality delivery with a ppositive, energetic, adaptable mindset to a startup environment
Candidate Skills
* Have a minimum of 3 years plus experience delivering high-volume or high-impact B2B events, ideally in technology or cybersecurity.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, written and spoken with experience of collaborating with senior stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, and speakers.
* Have strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets effectively and maximise value.
* Can perform well in a fast-moving, evolving environment with changing priorities.
Key Duties
* Plan and deliver end-to-end events across the full portfolio.
* Create and manage event timelines, programmes, and budgets to ensure smooth delivery and measurable results.
* Function as the main client contact from contract stage through post-event delivery and lead briefings for speakers, sponsors, internal teams, and suppliers to keep everyone aligned and prepared.
* You will work closely with marketing, sales, operations, and technical teams to deliver a joined event experience, support the business development team in meeting client requirements and commitments.
* Experience of managing multiple events at once, identifying risks, solving issues, and keeping delivery on track
* Review event performance, gather feedback, and apply improvements to future events
