About The Role
Richard Abson Group are currently helping a well known brand in seeking a Service Advisor to join their customer-focused aftersales team. As the first point of contact for service customers, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering a high level of customer service, while coordinating vehicle servicing and repairs efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet customers and handle service enquiries in person, by phone, and online
* Book vehicles in for service and repair work, managing the daily service diary
* Provide accurate estimates and explain work required to customers
* Liaise with technicians and workshop control to ensure timely completion of work
* Keep customers updated throughout the process and gain authorisation for any additional work
* Handle invoicing and take payment upon vehicle collection
* Promote additional products and services, such as service plans and seasonal checks
* Deal with customer complaints in a professional and proactive manner
* Maintain accurate records and adhere to company processes and manufacturer standards
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role within the motor trade (Service Advisor, Aftersales Advisor, or similar)
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Good understanding of automotive servicing and repair processes
* Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
* Confident using DMS and other booking/invoicing systems (e.g., Kerridge, Pinnacle, Keyloop)
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
