Role Overview
Our client is seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and highly organised Office Manager to lead our administrative team and support the smooth running of the school. This is a key role requiring excellent communication, leadership, and IT skills.
Key Responsibilities
School Administration
Provide confidential and efficient administrative support
Maintain high standards in all communications and materials
Manage incoming calls and direct enquiries appropriatelyReception & Office Management
Line manage the Receptionist and Administrator
Oversee office rotas, supplies, and budget
Ensure a welcoming and professional front-of-house environmentHR & Compliance
Maintain the Single Central Record (SCR)
Support recruitment and onboarding processes
Ensure safeguarding and training records are up to dateData & Systems
Manage pupil data in iSAMS and assist with census submissions
Oversee My School Portal content and calendar coordinationEvents & Trips
Organise school events, photo days, and vaccination clinics
Manage administration for school trips and offsite visitsMarketing & Communications
Assist with website updates and termly newsletters
Support the Parents' Events Committee and internal communicationsLeadership Support
Minute SLT and staff meetings
Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Leadership Team
Person Specification
Experience
Proven experience in office administration, ideally in education
Experience improving or streamlining administrative processesSkills & Attributes
Strong organisational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Friendly, resilient, and proactive
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Start Date: August 2025
Location: Brentford
Contract Type: Term time + 6 weeks
Hours: 08:30 - 17:30 (1-hour lunch break)
Contract Term: Permanent
