About the role:
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Foundation Stage Practitioner to join our Early Years team. You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This role will be working in our Baby Room under the supervision of our Room Leader and Nursery Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
3. Provide high-quality care, learning, and play opportunities
4. Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with EYFS
5. Act as a key person, building positive relationships with children and families
6. Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
7. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
8. Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
9. Work effectively as part of a team and follow nursery/school policies
10. Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare requirements
Requirements:
11. Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
12. Experience working within an EYFS setting (desirable)
13. Knowledge of EYFS and child development
14. A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach
15. Strong communication and teamwork skills
16. Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
17. Level 2 Food Hygiene
18. Enhanced DBS check (required)
