* Fixed 2-week rolling rota for stability & work-life balance:
* Week 1: Three week days
* Week 2: Two week days, PLUS Sat, Sun
* 12-hour shifts on a fixed rota (08:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00)
* Alternate weekend working required
Location & What We Do:
This role is based in Newark-on-Trent, supporting a gentleman with complex needs in his own home. Care is delivered 2:1, meaning you'll always work alongside another team member. The support provided is varied, from personal care and medication to structured daily routines, mobility support, and facilitating meaningful engagement. Boundaries, consistency and calmness are vital – but when trust is built, this is one of the most rewarding roles you'll ever do.
What You'll Do:
* Provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity
* Support with mobility, repositioning and hoisting (always 2:1)
* Assist with meals and hydration in line with preferences
* Administer medication and monitor wellbeing
* Respond calmly to escalated behaviours using de-escalation techniques
* Keep clear, accurate daily records and contribute to care planning
* Maintain professional boundaries while offering companionship
* Support occasional outings and meaningful daily engagement
What We're Looking For:
* Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement – Equality Act 2010)
* Calm, emotionally intelligent, and resilient under pressure
* Able to manage verbally challenging behaviour without reactivity
* Strong on professional boundaries and consistency
* Experienced in care OR confident and willing to learn (full training given)
* Must live within 30 minutes of Newark-on-Trent OR hold a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Reliable, punctual, and a good communicator
