Responsibilities
* Deliver a person‑centred service that promotes independence.
* Complete dynamic risk assessments and support plans.
* Promote wellbeing and manage risk appropriately.
* Ensure adherence to company and national policies and procedures.
* Work flexibly, including outside normal hours if required.
* Support people in accommodations or their homes, facilitate safe discharges and avoid admissions.
* Collaborate with professionals across a range of backgrounds.
* Maintain compliance with mandatory and additional training to enhance professional development.

Essential Skills
* Previous experience desirable, ideally in Mental Health, LD, or Neurodiverse support.
* Ability to positively address and challenge inappropriate or negative behaviours and attitudes.
* Experience using therapeutic de‑escalation and/or crisis intervention techniques.
* Ability to respond to changing needs and meet deadlines.
* Skill in encouraging and managing participation and involvement from the people you support.
* Computer literate, confident in using all Microsoft Office programmes.
Desired Skills
* Experience supporting people with a mental health condition within a community‑based service.
