My client, a leading regional legal practice, is looking to recruit a Senior Associate (ideally 5-10 years PQE) to join their growing Development team, focusing on Strategic Land Development. The firm generates significant opportunities from regional and national landowners/property developers and seeks an experienced solicitor with a strong background in Strategic Land Development (Option and/or Promotion agreements) and an established reputation in this field, who will bring connections with agencies.
This is a great opportunity to grow a practice/business in Strategic Land Development in any UK location.
Job Responsibilities:
* Manage own caseload and meet deadlines
* Assist Partners with complex and high-value matters
* Retain clients through effective management and service delivery
* Scope and price new instructions appropriately, with good financial management
* Provide clients with accurate, up-to-date legal advice that considers their circumstances and offers value for money
* Contribute to the team’s business plan and deliver assigned activities
* Develop relationships within the firm
* Support business development and marketing activities, including attending conferences
* Manage direct reports as the team expands
Person Specification:
* Proven technical experience in Strategic Land Development
* Adaptable, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team
* Collaborative with colleagues across the firm
* Client-focused, delivering valued service outcomes in a timely and cost-effective manner
* Effective communicator at all levels
* Strong commercial acumen with aspirations to grow and succeed within the firm
