Associate Dams and Reservoirs Engineer – London
A leading multidisciplinary Consultancy is seeking a talented Associate Dams and Reservoirs Engineer to join their experienced team. Working across sectors including Water, Aviation, Energy and Cities and Development, you will be at the forefront of designing, delivering and leading projects that shape the future of communities and the environment. Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee technical design work, ensuring compliance with design codes and quality standards.
* Define project briefs and scopes of work, and contribute to successful bids.
* Manage time, budgets and varied projects.
* Work closely with colleagues across the UK and internationally to provide integrated design solutions for Dams and Reservoirs and associate structures.
* Mentor, develop and train staff.
Qualifications
* Chartered Civil Engineer status
* Experience in the design and delivery of dams and reservoirs projects
* Strong knowledge of hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering as applied to dams and associated structures
* Familiarity with UK design standards, guidance and the Reservoirs Act
* Ideally, current or near completion of All Reservoir Panel Engineer (APRE) accreditation
