The Community Rehabilitation Service is an award winning service provided by Second Step in partnership with Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust and Missing Link.
Shaped by people who have used mental health services, the Community Rehabilitation Service gives people the support they need to achieve their hopes and goals. We are passionate about recovery, the service is psychologically, and trauma informed. The post will be based at Wellbridge House, our accommodation service in Brentry.
About the role:
-To work collaboratively with people with long-term mental health and complex needs in our accommodation service (10 residents all together)
-To support people in a person-centred approach to gain the skills and confidence to live as independently as possible in the community.
-To work within a multidisciplinary team (Psychologist, Occupational Therapists, Community Nurses, Recovery Navigators, Assistant Recovery Navigators, Senior Recovery Navigators, Senior Practitioners, Consultant Psychiatrist), delivering social and clinical interventions tailored to the individual’s cultural and social needs.

-You are passionate about supporting people, compassionate and approachable.
-You are willing to work independently as well as part of a team.
- You have some experience in working with adults with mental health and complex needs or transferable skills

Assistant Recovery Navigators in the accommodation service work on a rota basis, covering Monday to Sunday, early shifts 09:00-17:00, Late shifts 13:30-21:30 with half an hour break.
Week-ends shifts are sometimes Early- Late 09.00- 21.30 with an hour break.
