Care Assistant - Newport
Location: Newport & Surrounding Areas
Hours: Full time/ Part time/ Flexible shifts
Pay Rates: £13-£13-50 per hour

Responsibilities
* As a Care Assistant, you'll support clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
* Assisting with washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner
* Supporting mobility needs, including use of hoists, walking aids, or transfers
* Preparing nutritious meals and snacks based on dietary needs and preferences
* Providing light housekeeping, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying
* Building meaningful relationships through friendly conversation and emotional reassurance
* Communicating with the office and other team members to ensure the best possible care

* 30p per mile (or 45p when accompanying a client)

What You'll Need
We're looking for people who are reliable, compassionate, and ready to make a difference in the lives of others. You don't need previous care experience—full training and support are provided—but there are a few things that are essential for the role:
* Essential Requirements
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - you'll be travelling between client visits
* The right to work in the UK
* A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
* Good spoken and written English skills for communicating with clients and documenting visits
* Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
