Role: Pharmacy Dispenser
Location: Runcorn, UK Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday Salary: £25,297 base + bonus and shift allowance
Responsibilities
* Accurately and efficiently ensuring all patients' prescriptions are available for dispensing.
* Liaising by email and telephone with hospitals, surgeries, and dieticians to ensure prescriptions are available and patients’ treatment continues seamlessly.
* Collaborating with other Apprentice Dispensers, Dispensers, Accuracy Checking Technicians, and Pharmacists to ensure efficient use of resources across all Pharmacy sections.
* Promptly responding to any email and telephone queries that arise as part of the prescription processing procedures.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working in an administration/customer servicerole
* Previous dispensing experience would be ideal but not essential
* NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services would be an advantage, but not essential, and can be provided.
* Strong IT skills are essential (including Microsoft Office package); experience with SAP would be an advantage, but not essential.
* GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science.
* Motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and great attention to detail.
