Job Description
3. Lead and mentor a high‑performing cyber security team, providing direction, coaching and development.
4. Oversee day-to-day Cyber Security Operations, ensuring effective monitoring, triage and response.
5. Manage and enhance the Incident Response process, coordinating actions during security events and ensuring timely remediation.
6. Own the Threat & Vulnerability Management function, including scanning, prioritisation and mitigation planning.
7. Embed strong Cyber Risk Management practices, ensuring risks are identified, assessed and handled through established processes.
8. Work closely with stakeholders across IT, risk, compliance and wider business areas to integrate security into all operations.
9. Support strategic security initiatives, continuous improvement, and long‑term security roadmap planning.
The Successful Applicant
10. Proven experience leading or managing a cyber security team.
11. Strong background in security operations, incident response and vulnerability management.
12. Solid understanding of cyber risk management frameworks, processes and governance.
13. Ability to communicate security risks effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
14. Experience working in complex environments with modern security tooling and operational practices.
15. CISM, CISSP, or equivalent certifications are preferred but not essential.
