Are you a strategic estates leader with strong commercial acumen? GMS is looking for an Associate Director of Estates to lead and optimise complex healthcare estates across multiple sites.
This is a pivotal senior role where you’ll help shape and deliver our estates strategy, ensure compliance and resilience, and drive innovation aligned with GMS’s 5-year commercialisation plan.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Supporting and delivering a forward-thinking estates strategy
✔ Ensuring statutory, regulatory, and safety compliance across all sites
✔ Driving efficiency, sustainability, and operational excellence
✔ Managing budgets and delivering cost-effective solutions
✔ Building strong client relationships and leading a high-performing estates team
👤 What We’re Looking For
🔹 Proven leadership experience in estates management within complex environments
🔹 Strong commercial awareness with the ability to support growth strategies
🔹 Expertise in compliance, risk management, and operational delivery
🔹 Excellent financial and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
🎓 Degree in Estates Management or Engineering
🏅 Professional membership (IHEEM, RICS)
🌱 Knowledge of sustainability and net-zero initiatives
