Overview
Advanced Occupational Therapy Practitioner role across South Nottinghamshire. This position is based mainly in the South of Nottinghamshire, covering Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe. Location: Middle Street Resource Centre, Beeston, NG9 2AR. Work pattern: Part time (18.5 hours per week). Salary: £44,075 - £49,282 per annum (pro rata). Type: Permanent. Working arrangements: Hybrid (to be discussed at interview).

Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver therapy-led services and collaborate with people in their communities to provide support in the least intrusive manner possible, maximizing individuals’ strengths, assets and resources.
* Work with adults from diverse backgrounds, providing advice, equipment, adaptations and technology to support living well.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (Service Advisers, Community Care Officers, Occupational Therapists) and health and social care colleagues, carers, and people with lived experience to deliver a strengths-based approach and achieve equitable outcomes.
* Provide leadership and progression opportunities for Occupational Therapists, with support from Advanced Occupational Therapy Practitioners and the Team Manager.
* Ensure professional practice standards: be a qualified Occupational Therapist, maintain HCPC registration, demonstrate CPD, act as a Practice Educator, and have supervisory experience.
* Communicate effectively with staff, management and external partners to maintain positive relationships and high performance.
* Engage in ongoing training, coaching, and supervision; participate in annual development appraisals; access appropriate technology; and explore remote work options.
Qualifications and requirements
* Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration.
* Evidence of ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
* Experience as a Practice Educator and in supervisory roles.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
