Job Description
1. Partner with leadership to develop business plans at the practice group and department level; oversee implementation, monitor progress, and recommend proactive measures to meet or exceed goals.
2. Monitor financial performance of groups; collaborate with leadership to address issues and identify opportunities.
3. Analyze pipeline and demand metrics; manage capacity planning in coordination with talent management.
4. Collect, analyze, and distill operational, financial, and market data to provide actionable recommendations to practice and department leaders.
5. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, business development, talent management, HR, knowledge management, lateral integration, and professional development teams.
6. Serve as primary contact for practice leadership on administrative and operational issues, escalating as needed.
7. Facilitate long-term planning and growth strategies, including tracking hours, rates, revenues, headcount, and client budgets.
8. Organize partner meetings, set agendas, and follow up on action items.
9. Prepare presentations and reports for practice group and firm leadership meetings.
10. Monitor and improve key performance indicators (realization, utilization, cash flow, .
11. Support adoption of practice management tools and contribute to competitive intelligence studies.
12. Assist in identifying growth opportunities and client expansion initiatives in partnership with business development.
13. Manage high-priority projects, provide status updates to stakeholders, and prepare internal communications.
