Job Type: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and site equipment
* Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis and repair (mechanical and/or electrical)
* Support senior engineers with installations, upgrades, and project work
* Work independently on maintenance tasks
* Reduce downtime by ensuring efficient and effective repairs
* Follow health & safety procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records
About You:
* Experience in maintenance engineering OR a strong interest/qualification in engineering
* Mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled background preferred
* Strong willingness to learn and develop hands-on skills
* Good problem-solving and practical mindset
* Able to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
* Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
