Make a Difference in Procurement
Our Procurement & Supplier Management team plays a vital role in ensuring Wesleyan delivers value for money while maintaining a robust, resilient supply chain. We work closely with stakeholders across the business to drive commercial outcomes, manage risk, and support strategic change initiatives.
Joining this team means contributing to meaningful cost efficiencies while helping to shape how we work with suppliers across the Society.
Your Impact
Here’s how you’ll make a difference:
• Lead procurement activity within Human Resource and Professional Servies categories, delivering value for money and supporting strategic business objectives
• Identify and deliver cost savings and efficiencies, contributing to improved financial performance across the organisation
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive better outcomes and maximise value from supplier partnerships
• Use market insight, benchmarking and supplier knowledge to influence decision-making and shape category strategies
• Proactively identify and manage supply chain risks, ensuring robust and compliant procurement practices
What You’ll Bring
• You’re a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys working collaboratively and influencing stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
• You’re confident leading sourcing activities, negotiations and supplier engagements, with a focus on delivering measurable results
• You bring a proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Proven experience in procurement, ideally within HR and/or Professional Services, including sourcing, supplier management and delivering cost savings
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with structured procurement or project management approaches
• Ability to analyse data, interpret financial information and use insights to inform decisions
• MCIPS qualification (or working towards) is desirable
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools and procurement systems
