Tax SeniorFull-Time | Hybrid Working AvailableOur client is a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Solihull, currently looking to welcome an experienced Tax Senior to join their friendly and supportive team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in personal tax who enjoys building client relationships and is looking for a varied role with both compliance and advisory responsibilities.The RoleYoull be responsible for managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients while supporting on a variety of tax-related projects and advisory work. The client base is diverse and includes business owners, landlords, directors, and high-net-worth individuals.Responsibilities will include:Preparing and submitting Self-Assessment Tax ReturnsCompleting and submitting P11DsAssisting with Making Tax Digital (MTD) reportingPreparing Capital Gains Tax computations and returnsLiaising with clients to gather information and answer queriesCommunicating with HMRC on behalf of clientsSupporting with advisory projects, disclosures, and trust/estate-related workKeeping up to date with current tax legislation and compliance requirementsAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have previous experience within a tax-focused role and be confident managing their own workload and client portfolio.Youll ideally have:Around 3+ years UK personal tax experienceExperience working with a range of private clients and owner-managed businessesKnowledge of Self-Assessment returns and P11DsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailA proactive and client-focused approachGood working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeATT, CTA, ACA/ACCA or STEP qualification (or part-qualified and continuing studies)Experience with trusts, estates, advisory work, or CCH software would be advantageous, but is not essential.Whats on OfferCompetitive salary depending on experienceHybrid working following probationFlexible working hoursFriendly and collaborative working environmentOngoing professional development and study supportCompany pensionOn-site parkingLong-term career development opportunitiesThis is a great opportunity to join a supportive and growing team where your experience will be valued and your career can continue to progress.Please submit your CV along with a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and interest in the role.Morgan Parkes Recruitment Ltd operate in the UK and can only process applications from candidates who are currently eligible to live and work in the UK.
