Job Title: Psychotherapist
Location: Underley Gardens School, Kirkby Lonsdale, Lancashire LA6 2DZ
Salary: £41,338 - £56,800 pro rata, DOE
Hours: 24 hours per week, 3 days per week, (days negotiable)
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time only
Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join our Clinical Teams at Underley Gardens School in Kirkby Lonsdale. You will work as a key member of our clinical team, delivering assessments and interventions for pupils with complex needs, autism, and emotional challenges.
You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach, ensuring pupils' safety, comfort, and health. The role involves conducting assessments, interventions, and preparing reports, as well as supporting and training staff and parents to develop clinical services.
Our multidisciplinary Clinical Team fosters a nurturing environment where pupils can thrive, with a strong safeguarding culture. We aim to build futures by empowering vulnerable individuals in the UK.

Essential Criteria
* Recognised qualification e.g. Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy and registration with the appropriate professional body
* Minimum Level 7 qualification or Level 5 with relevant experience
* Clear report writing skills
* Registration with BABCP or NCPC, and HCPC where applicable
* Experience working with autistic individuals with complex needs
* Ability to work independently under supervision
* Experience in multi-professional teams
* Continuing professional development
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car
