Role Overview
Project Lead – Product Development (Telematics), a newly created, permanent full‑time position within Holman UK’s Marketing Team based at our HQ in Chippenham. The role focuses on deploying telematics initiatives to accelerate Holman’s capabilities, increase share of wallet, and drive innovation for long‑term relevance.
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience). The position offers hybrid working flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with leadership and stakeholders to scope new telematics product offerings aligned with strategic priorities.
* Identify and define business needs, market opportunities, and product concepts.
* Engage new suppliers to facilitate specification discussions and service integration.
* Engage clients and prospects to uncover needs and ensure fit for future offerings.
* Align with partners and vendors for successful system integration.
* Lead operational projects and pilot initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines.
* Create platforms and processes to engage commercial team functions and leaders.
* Develop communication and engagement processes for business awareness.
* Ensure critical partners are informed, consulted, and processes are documented and communicated.
* Oversee deployment of new operational processes, recommend changes where necessary.
* Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
* Experience within product development, ideally in telematics.
* Experience developing and implementing strategic plans supporting business priorities.
* Demonstrated experience leading multiple concurrent projects within budget.
* Proficiency with desktop tools including MS Office.
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
* Advanced problem‑solving and critical‑thinking mindset.
* Competency in project‑management methodology.
* Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills.
* Knowledge of market developments to define business needs and opportunities.
* Continuous‑improvement mindset.
