Norfolk Institute for Practice Excellence (NIPE) Adult Social Care.
We offer a £2000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Social Workers/Occupational Therapists (grade J and above), Practice Consultants and Team Managers new to Norfolk County Council. Amount to be repaid in full should you leave within two years of employment.
For experienced Social Workers new to Norfolk County Council we promise to try and match or better your existing salary, providing it is within the spectrum of the grade advertised.

It's an exciting time to join us in Adult Social Services. Using the 'Living Well' approach to care and support, our vision is to promote independence to support people to live fulfilling lives and promote the wellbeing of the people who use our services.
NIPE is a countywide team consisting of a Team Manager, Practice Consultant Social Workers, Practice Consultant Occupational Therapists, Legacy Social Work and Occupational Therapist posts and a Wellbeing Facilitator.
We deliver the Assessed and Supported Year of Employment programme to Newly Qualified Social Workers, the Preceptorship to Newly Qualified Occupational Therapists, Living Well training to new colleagues and have developed a 12-week Induction Programme that supports Assistant Practitioners, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists new to their role in Adult Social Care.
We are looking for a creative and dynamic experienced Social Worker committed to the development of their colleagues, to deliver The Assistant Practitioner Development program. This is a new programme to support newly appointed Assistant Practitioners from across the County, who are joining Adult Social Care. Ideally you will be a Practice Educator or experienced in supporting the learning and development of students, apprentices, and or colleagues and willing to train to become a Practice Educator.
