Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Do you have experience working in a primary school setting or are looking to begin your career in education? We're currently working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Aylesbury that is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
Role
* Teaching Assistant (KS1 and/or KS2)
* Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
* Start Date: Immediate or negotiable
* Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term time only)
* Contract Type: Long-term supply with potential for permanent placement
* Pay: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience (£80-£95/day)
Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils with varying needs across the curriculum
* Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom management
* Creating a positive, engaging learning environment
* Working collaboratively with staff to support pupil progress
* Providing feedback to teachers and contributing to planning where appropriate
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children (school or non-school setting)
* A calm, patient and positive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A passion for education and helping children succeed
* DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) - desirable but not essential
