About the role
The Valve Stock Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and optimising inventory levels of Score stock valves and related components. This role ensures that the right products are available in the right quantities to support customer demand while minimising excess stock and obsolescence. The analyst collaborates closely with procurement / supply chain, stores teams and commercial teams to maintain efficient inventory management and data accuracy.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, and work instructions.
* Inventory Analysis: Monitor valve stock levels, usage patterns, and turnover rates to forecast future demand accurately.
* Data Management: Maintain and analyze ERP/MRP system data to ensure real-time accuracy of valve inventory records.
* Procurement Support: Provide analytical insights to the purchasing team for restocking and supplier negotiations.
* Optimisation: Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory, obsolete items, and stockouts.
* Coordination: Work with maintenance, engineering, and production departments to forecast valve requirements for planned shutdowns or projects.
* Compliance: Ensure all inventory control activities adhere to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
* Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements for better inventory visibility, traceability, and efficiency.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related subject.

Experience
* Experience in inventory analysis, supply chain management, or materials planning (preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or oil & gas sectors).
* Previous experience in valves and valve market is preferrable.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
* Experience with demand forecasting tools.
