The Best Connection are looking for a Yard Supervisor to join our leading manufacturing client in Wheatley Location: Wheatley Shift times: 7.00 am - 17.00 pm Monday - Friday Pay Rate: £34-36k yearly Responsibilities of the Yard Supervisor: Operational Management - Direct daily yard activities, including the movement of vehicles, materials and equipment Enforce health and safety policies and maintaining a clean and tidy work environment Lead, train and schedule yard operatives and assistants Monitor inventory levels, oversee loading/unloading of lorries, and maintain, service, or report defects on machinery (e.g. Forklifts, JCB's) Qualifications and experience required: Will require someone from a merchant background Knowledge of maintaining yard equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition This is a temp to perm role If this sounds like a perfect fit for you, give us a call on 01235 550077 and ask for Nicole or Summer, or alternatively click apply.
