We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer (mid-weight) to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a blend of brand, digital and offline work. This role requires a designer who not only has exceptional visual design skills but also at least a foundational understanding of user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) to create effective and user-centric designs.
You will be responsible for creating compelling visual assets across a wide range of media, from digital marketing campaigns to print collateral. You will work closely with the marketing team, to bring our brand to life and achieve our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Execution:
* Create high-quality design assets for both digital platforms (e.g., social media graphics, website banners, email templates, digital ads) and offline materials (e.g., brochures, flyers, event signage, print ads).
* Maintain and evolve the company's brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials.
* Work from concept to completion, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Digital & UX/UI Focus:
* Apply a user-centric approach to design, with an understanding of UX principles to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences.
* Collaborate on the design of user interfaces (UI) for our website and digital products.
* Understand the principles of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and design with the goal of improving user journeys and key performance indicators.
Collaboration & Communication:
* Work closely with the marketing team to translate campaign strategies into visual concepts.
* Present design concepts and rationale to internal stakeholders and integrate feedback effectively.
* Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and to a high standard.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both digital and print design. Ideally at least 4 years.
* Detailed knowledge with industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
* Experience in video editing (e.g. Premiere Pro).
* Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.
* A foundational understanding of UX and UI design principles.
* Knowledge of how design can influence CRO and user behaviour.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable (but non-essential) Skills:
* Familiarity with UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) would be an advantage.
* Experience with front-end web development languages such as HTML and CSS.
* Experience in motion graphics (e.g., After Effects).
* Experience with digital marketing platforms and tools.
