The Role
As a Childcare Practitioner, you'll play a key role in supporting the development and well-being of children under the age of 16. You'll be part of a passionate team that works collaboratively to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care tailored to the individual needs of each child.
* Lead and support educational and play-based activities that encourage learning and development.
* Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children in your care.
* Build strong, respectful relationships with families and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily experiences.
* Support the implementation of policies and procedures to meet regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting (preferred).
* Someone who holds a current childcare qualification- SVQ level 3 or above (or equivalent). ESSENTIAL
* Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
* A compassionate, patient, and nurturing attitude.
* A team player who values collaboration and shared success.
* Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education.
